Do you plan to attend the 50th reunion?
Personal information: (Family information, i.e., children [include married names], grandchildren, marital status, hobbies, pets, etc.)
Married 49 years in May to Tom. We have 2 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. (How did we get OLD so fast???)
Professional information: (current position, previous experience, education, etc.)
We are active in Sojourners, a Church of Christ Mission. We travel nationwide in our RV to children's homes, youth camps, and small churches to work and teach. I am in P.E.O., an organization that provides college scholarships for women, and have served as president and in other offices. Also a memeber of the Cass County Conservationists and USTA. Tom plays guitars and sings and we have a "routine" worked up and have entertained at banquets, etc. We have played in tennis leagues and gone to State with our teams until the past 3 years but now are gone a lot as we are traveling doing the mission work. I play in several bridge clubs when I'm home. God has blessed me with a wonderful life and I am truly thankful.
What a great reunion!!!...It was so good seeing everyone! Thanks again to everyone who helped make it the BEST reunion!! I am so proud to have been at OHS with such a wonderful group of people!! Thanks Everyone!!

Hi Gwen, good to see you on this site and look forward to seeing you in September. You are in Amarillo, but members of Cass County Conservationists? I KNOW that they are across the state from each other!!! What congregation do you all attend in Amarillo?
Talk to you later.
I have really enjoyed looking for our lost classmates. I have talked to several on the phone and sent emails back and forth with some. We are very scattered. Michigan, Arizona, Montana, etc. Hope we have a really good turnout in September.
It is hard to believe that it has been 50 years. We could all write a book about experiences I'm sure. You have really had a rich life. I am especially interested in hearing more about some of your mission trips. A friend of mine lives in Amarillo. Her name is Lynn Howell. Look forward to seeing you and catching up. It will be long nights of talking. Keep in touch.
Hope all is going well with you. We are meeting Tuesday June 23, 6:30 for a committee meeting, why don't you just drive down and join us? The time is moving quickly, the reunion will be here before we know it. I was in Corpus last week for a state convention for Delta Kappa Gamma, the end of July I am going to Portland OR for the Northwest Conference of Delta Kappa Gamma. Delta Kappa Gamma is a society of women educators that I have been a member of nearly 40 years. I have given, and will give in Portland, my Caregiving workshop at several Texas state conventions.
Look forward to seeing you and hope we have time to visit, not just say hi in passing.
I started doing this about 5 years ago. In 2002 I attended an International Convention for Delta Kappa Gamma, one of the workshops was "On the Road as a Caregiver without a roadmap" At the time Dad was 96 and Mother 88 and both were needed more care, in fact in 2000 they both spent two weeks each in Medical Center with pneumonia, so knew that would be more of a caregiver as time went on. I used some of the presenter's ideas, but most of what she had were from web sites, books etc. Since then have made it my own, and call it "Help! I Am A Caregiver. What Do I Do Next?" It is normally a two hour workshop, but have spoken to groups where I have given the HIGHLIGHTS in 25 to 30 minutes!!! I am always looking for new material and of course the web is a gold mine, in fact found a new sight this year (new to me anyway) called the Well Spouse website. It's really a good source as well.
